Contouring the spirit of cross-institutional collaboration and capacity building, the second talk in The Brown Bag Seminar Series focused on HIV Cure: Myth or Possibility? by Dr. Dr. B.B. Rewari, Scientist HIV/AIDS, WHO SEARO. The aim of the seminar series is to inform and build capacities & knowledge of programme managers at NACO, community, development partners and key stakeholders. The seminar series will serve as a gateway for knowledge sharing, open dialogue, cross learning on new developments and programme management. The talk highlighted the various developments in HIV Cure, latent infected T cells and hidden reservoir of HIV, residual replication, cases of Berlin patient and Mississippi baby and post treatment contollers, progress and roadblocks in finding a cure for HIV.
