A meeting on "Demonstration of Integrated PLHIV-ART Linkages System (PALS)" is conducted Under the Chairmanship of Dr. C. V Dharma Rao, Joint Secretary NACO on 19th Oct 2016 at 9th Floor committee room, NACO.

The purpose of the meeting was to orient the NACO officials about the PALS system developed for tracking of HIV positive individuals including pregnant women as well as discordant partners and Orphan babies to monitor the cascade of services from testing to treatment provided to them at different facilities, at different time point and Geo-locations with unique PID number.

This meeting was attended by DDG (BSD), DDG(CST), DDG (TI), Director Finance and Other NACO officials. Further discussion was also carried out to explore the possible ways of integration of PALS software with SIMS (Strategic Information Management System) and other IT applications of NACO.
