The sixteenth Meeting of the Technical Resource Group on Research & Development was held under the Chairmanship of Dr Prema Ramachandran on 21 October, 2016 at National AIDS Control Organisation, New Delhi. The Committee deliberated on five fresh research protocols covering thematic areas of HLA and HIV transmission, use of Ayurvedic formulations for patient management, HIV & HCV among Transgendered populations, average time for development of virological failure. Four progress reports from ongoing research projects were also reviewed by the Committee.
