Evidence based response has been central to the National AIDS Control Programme. As a follow-up from the National Workshop to Identify Strategic Research Priorities to achieve 90-90-90 Targets for HIV/AIDS organised last month, NACO and NARI in collaboration with WHO, UNAIDS and CDC organised an “Expert Consultation to finalise Strategic Priorities for Evidence Generation towards achieving 90-90-90” at Pune. Based on the strategic priority areas identified in the earlier Workshop, four innovative models of service delivery were discussed and further developed. Programme managers from NACO and SACS, ICMR institutes, premier research institutions conducting HIV/AIDS research, civil society and community and our development partners participated in the Consultation.
