Research & Evaluation Division, NACO is organizing a ‘Follow-up Workshop on Operational Research in HIV/AIDS’ from 16th – 17th October 2017 at New Delhi in collaboration with CDC and WHO. The workshop is attended by scientists from premier research institutions and medical colleges, programme managers from SACS and NACO. The workshop is expected to come out with finalized protocols on key priority areas identified by the programme (e.g. LFUs, TDF toxicity, strategies to increase detection, adherence issues among non-adherent PLHIVs and Health facility preparedness for testing & treatment of congenital syphilis). JS, NACO inaugurated the workshop and emphasized the importance of evidence based programming. The inaugural was attended by representatives of CDC, WHO, UNAIDS and USAID.
