NACO in collaboration with C4D, UNICEF, Delhi, has organised a workshop on Social and Behaviour Change Communication for HIV

The IEC division of NACO in collaboration with C4D, UNICEF, Delhi, has organised a workshop on Social and Behaviour Change Communication for HIV from 13th -16th September.
The objective of the workshop is to prepare Master Trainers at National level who will then take the training sessions at State level. At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

• Use knowledge of Social and Behaviour Change principles for planning SBCC interventions for HIV.
• Prepare communication plans to implement HIV programs with a special focus on adolescents.
• Use their understanding of the socio-ecological model for inclusion of marginalized and high risk populations in communication planning.
• Transfer their knowledge and skills to mid managers and service providers as a facilitator.

The Secretary & DG, NACO inaugurated the workshop. The inaugural session was attended by Joint Secretary, NACO, Project Director (DSACS), Chief C4D (UNICEF) and DDG, NACO.
